Luxury hospitality destination The Delborough Lagos has strengthened its position in Africa’s premium tourism and hospitality sector with the arrival of Michelin-starred chef, Sauro Bison, at its signature DANI Restaurant.
The chef, who arrived in Lagos on June 16, is expected to lead efforts aimed at enhancing the restaurant’s culinary offerings and delivering world-class dining experiences to guests.
Speaking after his arrival, Bison expressed appreciation for the reception he received and said he was excited to begin a new chapter with the Lagos-based luxury brand.
He noted that beyond bringing international expertise, he looked forward to collaborating with local culinary professionals to further raise standards and create memorable dining experiences.
Bison described Lagos as one of Africa’s most vibrant cities, saying its energy, creativity and growing hospitality industry present opportunities for innovation and excellence in the culinary space.
The development is seen as another milestone for The Delborough Lagos, which has continued to attract globally recognised personalities, luxury brands and industry leaders to Nigeria.
Over the years, the luxury destination has hosted several high-profile guests, including African leaders, international business figures and entertainment personalities, while also serving as a platform for global brands seeking entry into the African market.
Management of DANI Restaurant said the addition of the Michelin-starred chef aligns with its ambition to elevate Lagos’ fine dining scene and position the restaurant among Africa’s leading culinary destinations.
