Tinubu Meets Top Traditional Rulers, Deji of Akure, others express confidence

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu met with top Traditional Rulers from around the country at the Presidential Villa, Abuja today as part of his consultation with key stakeholders within the nation.

the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’adu Abubakar III, who led his counterparts to the meeting, said the traditional rulers visited the President to congratulate him and to assure him of their support in his arduous task of nation building.

On his part, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Adewusi, urged President Tinubu to make more “use” of the traditional rulers to address insecurity.

The Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade who spoke on behalf of the South West Obas urged the President to speed up the process of cushion the effect of the removal of fuel subsidy. He equally express confidence in the ability of the President to renew the hope of Nigerians.

Other Traditional Rulers who spoke on behalf of their Geo-Political Zones includes; Sheu of Borno (North East), Obi of Onitsha (South East), Emir of Kano (North West), Oku Ibom Ibibio (South East), Etsu Nupe (North Central).
