Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, on Tuesday, received the Merit Award of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV).
The Award was presented to the Governor by the Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Pastor Femi Agagu, who received the award on behalf of the Governor during the NIESV Award Ceremony in Abuja.
Governor Akeredolu, who was on annual vacation at the time of the Award Ceremony, was presented with the Award during the State Executive Council meeting held at the Exco Chambers, Governor’s office, Alagbaka, Akure.
The Award was in recognition of the Governor’s initiatives and contributions to massive infrastructural development, which has enhanced the quality of life of citizens of the State and Nigeria at large.
The Governor conveyed his appreciation to the members and leadership of NIESV while describing the Award as a push to do more for the people.
Meanwhile, the Governor is currently presiding over the State Executive Council meeting at the Exco Chamber, Governor’s Office, Alagbaka, Akure.
The meeting is attended by the Secretary to the State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu and other members of the State Executive Council.
