A suspected internet fraudster popularly known as yahoo boy, has crushed three persons to death and injured others in a road accident that happened in Ijoka area, Akure, the Ondo State Capital.

It was learnt that the fatal accident which occurred in the early hours of Monday, involved a Toyota car which rammed into about five commercial motorcycles with their passengers at a different spots along Ijo Mimo, to Sunday bus stop, Ijoka road.

Bystanders at scene of the ugly incident disclosed that three people died at the spot, while others sustained varying degrees of injuries.

The driver of the Toyota car who did not sustain any injury was trying to escape from the scene before he was caught by some youths and was beaten up into a coma.

Some of the injured persons were rescued to nearby hospitals, while the lifeless bodies were left on the ground as of the time of this report.
